Ice Breaker Regatta

Event - RSC Annual Open Regatta.
RULES - The Races will be governed by the current “Race Rules of Sailing”, the prescriptions of the Canadian Yachting Association, and the Sailing Instructions for this regatta
Eligibility - Each competitor shall be a member of a club, which is currently in good standing with the CYA.
ENTRY FEE - Registration: single - $25, double handed $50. Family rate - $50. Registration will take place at the clubhouse at 10:00AM Sunday May 23rd up to the warning signal.
Supper will be available for purchase at the Club on Sunday, May 23rd and breakfast on Monday May, 24.
SAILING INSTRUCTIONS - Sailing instructions will be available at the registration table, and will be posted on the official notice board at the clubhouse.

Scoring - The low point scoring system as described in appendix A of the Racing Rules of Sailing will be used for this regatta. 9 races are scheduled. One race in each class must be completed to constitute a series.
(a) When fewer than 5 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores.
(b) When from 5 to 9 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score.
ACCOMMODATION - Limited tenting and camping is available at the Last Mountain Lake Sailing Center, no charge. Please bring your own drinking water.
