Welcome to our Sailing Club

Club Facilities
Located high on a bluff, featuring a large veranda overlooking a wide expanse of lake, our clubhouse has full kitchen facilities, complimented by a comfortable lounging area &changing rooms.  Picnic tables, BBQ's and toilets facilities are available for the use of members and guests.
Friendly Atmosphere
The club offers a friendly, family atmosphere.  A number of sailing and related social activities are organized throughout the season, including a racing regatta which attracts sailors from all over the province. And you can invite your friends out for a picnic or a barbecue any time!
If you have your own boat...
A locked compound is available for members with their own boats.  Boats may be left in the compound for the winter.  At LMLSC we mostly sail dinghies but "day sailors", catamarans and keel boats are represented at the club.
...or use club boats
If you don't have a boat, and aren't sure you want to make that investment yet, not to worry! The club owns 4 Lasers, which are meant to be sailed by one person and 3 Laser II's, which can be sailed by two or three people.   The club also owns a 16 foot canoe,  a Mistral windsurfer and for those that just don't know how to quit when they are ahead - a rather scary iceboat!  Club boats are available to any member who has attained CYA White Sail III or demonstrated equivalent sailing skills.
Regattas
If you prefer a more challenging sailing regime, use the club as your "qualifying location" for 8-10 or more regattas around the Province between late May and mid September.

     How to Find Us

From Regina head north on Albert St./Highway #11. At the Lumsden exit turn right (east) on to Hwy #20. Continue through Craven about 10 km to just past the "Trading Post" & turn left on to Hwy #322 to Silton & Saskatchewan Beach. At Silton turn left, cross the railway tracks and go straight ahead on to the gravel road until you come to the cemetery. Turn left towards the lake, go down the hill, then turn right. RSC facilities are inside the Regional Park just south east of the boat ramp.
