June 13 is our first scheduled Sunday Clinic and I would like to share my plans, so you have a reason to attend. As you know the club has a number of Club Boats that are available for members' use. Before you can sail a Club Boat, you need to know where the sails are stored, how to rig the boats and have a check out sail.
So, this is your chance to be introduced to the Club Boats and get checked out. If you have your own dingy, why not come out and launch your boat with the fleet. There should be lots of members around to assist. The clinic is scheduled for around two hours, starting at 11:00 a.m. After the clinic we can all stop for a quick lunch (BYOF) and still have the rest of the day to sail.

June 27 is our second Sunday Clinic. This clinic will start at 11:00 am and will focus on the Club House. Club directors will explain how to turn the water off and on - so the toilets work, how to launch the rescue boat, and other procedural and safety items around the club.
The Membership Director will be there with your membership card and club key.
We will break for lunch around 12:30. This will leave the afternoon for sailing. Why not bring enough food and drink to stay for the evening and join us for a BBQ for supper?
Hi Sailors: Just a reminder that there are only two sailing clinics left this season – July 11th and 25th.
Come on out – bring the family and join us in a BBQ lunch and maybe dinner too. The agenda is pretty open and will follow the wishes of these participating. Main areas will likely be in proper boat rigging, know your way around the club facilities, operating the safety boat, discussion on use of club boats by club members (at no charge) and an on-water session practising round the buoys or depending on numbers perhaps a flotilla cruise over to Regina Beach for ice cream. Whatever best meets your needs.
Seasoned club members will be on hand to help – they are giving up Sunday sailing for this – so come on out. Maybe you can hitch a ride on their boat after the clinic! New members particularly welcome.
